The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it's alarmed in regards to the large quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The service level established for intervention encounters a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to enable the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the SRD agency said.
